Instructions
for those curious of Melomel

Storage
Melomel is best stored upright to minimize contact with the cork and keep any sediment at the base of the bottle.
Opening
One pleasing aspect about Melomel is its longevity once uncorked, which can be at least a full month. In fact, flavour improves for several days after the initial opening, and so we recommend opening a bottle the day prior to drinking.
Effervescence
Sulfites are not used in the production of Melomel, and thus bottles occasionally develop an unintentional fizz. The problem can easily be remedied by allowing the bottle to stand for a time after opening, unless it is preferred.

Sediment
Most bottles have a layer of organic precipitate remaining from the winemaking process. Careful pouring or decanting can leave the layer largely undisturbed, though it is both zesty and nutritious if drank.
Serving
Taste and aroma are generally quite pleasant from 50°F to room temperature, with whites tending cooler and reds warmer. Whether served alone or with food, Melomel is likely to show a potent presence.
